Brittany Murphy
The death of a young person is always impressive. More, when it is completely unexpected. This is the case of Brittany Murphy, 32, whose death from natural causes appears to have been due to cardiac arrest. Brittany collapsed in the bathroom, and her husband had to call the Los Angeles fire department.
Brittany Murphy was born on November 10, 1977 in Atlanta, Georgia, United States. It does not seem that hers was a happy home, since her parents divorced her, and specifically her parent, Angelo Bertolotti, has spent periods in prison for criminal matters related to drug trafficking. Hence she renounces her Italian-American last name.
Already as a child, Brittany acted in plays, and would also have a presence in commercials. Her first professional performances were for the small screen, in the television series Blossom (1991) and Drexell’s Class (1991). But without a doubt, her first impact role was the one she had in the movie Clueless. She was out of the loop , she along with Alicia Silverstone , in what was defined as ‘the posh version’ of Jane Austen ‘s novel ‘Emma’ . With Silverstone, she would share a more or less regular career for a few years, to then be somewhat relegated compared to other actresses of her generation.
