BIOGRAPHY OF BRITT NICOLE
Britt Nicole is an American singer, songwriter and entertainer. She is best known as a Christian pop artist, but in 2012 found her first mainstream single, ‘Gold’, and in 2013, ‘Ready or Not’, hit the Mainstream Top 40. at the 55th Grammy Awards. She is signed to Sparrow and Capitol Records.
She began singing at her church, Truth Temple in Kannapolis, North Carolina when she was three years old. Along with his brother and cousin, he became involved in the daily church program on Charlotte’s television station WAXN.
At South Rowan High School, she was a member of the school’s advanced choir and performed with them at Carnegie Hall in New York. She was also a member of the Brightleaf Music Workshop at Duke University.
On June 10, 2003, he released his debut album “Follow the Call” which she released under the name Brittany Waddell. In 2014, she signed a management contract with Vertical Entertainment, then signed a development contract with Word Records. She signed with Sparrow Records in 2006 and her song ‘Indestructible’ was featured on the WOW Next 2007 compilation CD. On May 22, 2007, she released her debut album ‘Say It’ under the name Britt Nicole. The album peaked at number 40 on Billboard’s Christian Albums chart. On December 4, 2012, she signed with Capitol Records and released “Gold” as her first single for mainstream pop radio. On October 7, 2016, she released her fourth studio album, “Britt Nicole”.

Britt Nicole was born as Brittany Nicole Waddell, in Salisbury, North Carolina. Her parents divorced when she was seven years old. During an interview, she revealed that she almost gave up on love and life after her parents’ painful divorce. She also revealed that it was during this time that she was rescued.
“During this time of divorce, I remember just feeling an emptiness in my heart and I was like, ‘Man, my mom can’t fill this void, and my dad won’t be able to fill it…somehow. thing is missing. “I watched my parents argue and fight, and I was scared. Then there were times when I felt really alone. It was a situation they were going through, where I felt like I couldn’t really reach out to them.
I was saved when I was seven years old, while watching my parents go through this divorce. I just remember this man preaching, and my heart was beating in my chest. He gave the altar call. He said, “If anyone wants to come down and receive Jesus as your Saviour, you can come down now.” I just needed to cry, I just needed to lay it all at His feet. And say, God, take it. She has a brother Bryn Waddell with whom she sang at the Truth Temple in Kannapolis, North Carolina.
