Britt McHenry is a famous sports reporter for ESPN based in Washington, D.C. She was born Brittany May McHenry on May 28, 1986, in Mount Holly Township, New Jersey, USA. Education
McHenry attended Satellite High School in Satellite Beach, Florida. During his time at SHS, he was a member of the soccer team with professional player Ashlyn Harris and graduated in 2004.
He then joined Stetson University, where he played midfielder for the Hatters football team in the 2004 season. In 2007, he graduated magna cum laude from Stetson and went on to study journalism at the Medill School of Journalism at the University of Northwestern.

During his time at Medill, he used to cover stories in Chicago, Illinois. After graduating from MSJ, she began her first professional career working for ABC affiliate WJLA-TV. At the same time, she also worked as a fill-in anchor and sports reporter for her other station NewsChannel 8.
She left ABC 7 for a time and served as a dugout reporter for Fox Sports San Diego at the San Diego Padres. After two weeks she returned to ABC 7 and served with the station until March 2014. After her departure, McHenry joined Washington DC-based ESPN as a bureau reporter.

On April 16, 2015, LiveLeak posted a video of McHenry verbally abusing a two-lot employee, for which she was criticized by many audiences and later suspended for a week by ESPN from the network. But he later apologized on Twitter, saying:
In an intense and stressful time, I let my emotions get the best of me and said some insulting and regrettable things… I am very sorry for my actions and I will learn from this mistake.’
A few days later, the towing company released a statement citing that they did not want Britt McHenry to be suspended or fired as a result of her comments.
