Britney Spears

As a music megastar, it’s not surprising that Britney Spears wanted to experiment on film and television. Even so, it is more about almost anecdotal experiences, because what it really owes to is her music. After having passed the worst period of her existence, the artist seems determined to recover her life and her career.

Britney Spears was born on December 2, 1981 in Kentwood (Louisiana). From a very young age, she showed great interest in singing and dancing. She was a very active girl who played different sports and dreamed of becoming famous. She appeared in numerous talent contests and even tried the Mickey Mouse Club program, but she was not accepted due to her young age. But her perseverance paid off and three years later she – already 11 years old – was accepted into the show. But before her, her mother took her and her sister Jamie-Lynn—her father and her brother stayed home—and moved to New York for the girl to prepare. She took classes and participated in an off-Broadway show. But when she really changed her life it was her when she signed with Jive Recording Artist in the late nineties. Between 1998 and 1999 Britney reached number one on the sales charts around the world thanks to her first single “… Baby One More Time” and the self-titled album that contained it. Young Spears became an international star and was dubbed “the princess of pop” by many. Her musical career continued apace and she has since released five more studio albums. With some ups and downs of late, no one can argue that Britney has been one of the global stars of the turn of the millennium.

Like many other famous singers, Britney Spears also wanted to try her luck in the movies. While her music has gone through numerous movies, series and shows, her big screen debut as an actress came in a small role as a flight attendant in Longshot (2000). Her first starring role was two years after hers with Crossroads (Until the End) , a road movie where she was able to show off her musical talent. This has been her last work in her cinema. Since then, she has only been seen in one episode of the Will & Grace series (2006) and in two of How I Met Your Mother (2008).

In recent years Britney’s life has not exactly been a path of flowers. The angelic girl who succeeded at just 17 years old became a woman who filled the pages of newspapers due to her tumultuous life full of excesses, which led him to lose custody of her children. One of Britney’s first noteworthy “crazy” roles was in January 2004, when she married her friend Jason Allen Alexander. The couple annulled their union 55 hours after it took place in Las Vegas. Many are those who affirm that the annulment is due to the fact that they got married in the typical “movie” situation where two lifelong friends drink more than necessary, enter a chapel in the capital of the game…, and the end is known to all. That same year, Britney married –on September 18– with the dancer Kevin Federline. The couple made a reality show about their lives at a time when Britney’s tremendous popularity was beginning to falter. In 2005, her first child –Sean Preston– was born, and a year later little Jayden James came into the world. The couple divorced in 2007 and has been involved in more than one dispute that has transcended the tabloids. Like many teen stars, Britney seemed to have it all – including a famous boyfriend just like her,Justin Timberlake – and almost threw it overboard. After various admissions for various addictions and psychological problems of her, it seems that Britney has taken the bull by the horns of her. In the field of cinema, she has no plans for the future because she is now focused on the world tour of her album “Circus”, with which she wants to recover her career by doing what she knows best: sing and dance. It seems that Britney has cheered up and the time has come to ask her for “One more time”.
