Popular British actor, Damson Idris, has also taken to social media to pay tribute to the veteran Nigerian actor, Babatunde Omidina aka Baba Suwe, who died on Monday, November 22.
In a post shared on his Twitter handle, Damson said Baba Suwe was the first to teach him about comedy.
Sharing a picture of the Nollywood icon he wrote: Rest in peace Baba Suwe. A Nigerian icon and the man who first taught me about comedy. God bless.”

Recall that the Legendary Nollywood Actor recently passed away on Monday the 22nd of November 2020 after a long battle with an illness.
One of his children, Adesola Omidina, broke the news of his death on his official Instagram handle on Monday afternoon, describing the comic death as sudden.
The family also noted that Baba Suwe will be laid to rest on Thursday, November 25.
Baba Suwe began acting in 1971 but came into the limelight after he featured in a movie titled, Omolasan, a film produced by Obalende. He became more popular after he featured in Iru Esin, produced by Olaiya Igwe in 1997.
The actor was one of the most successful comics in the Nollywood Industry as he featured and produced a lot of movies until his illness in 2019.
