Brit Award Snubs Wizkid to Nominate Ckay

The British Phonographic Industry’s annual popular music awards popularly known as The Brit award has snubbed the International Nigeria Star Wizkid to nominate the recent International Ckay for his Global hit  Love Nwantiti in the International Song of the year category.

The two Nigerian Stars have been a stand out in the international scene in the year 2021, Wizkid with his global hit song Essence has broken numerous records and won multiple awards locally and internationally.

The rising star Ckay was also on the international scene for his Global hit song Love Nwantiti, which is reportedly the most streamed African song on Spotify for the year 2021.

The International dominance has brought about a comparison between the two artists which has however generated a lot of controversies though the two artists seem to be very cool with themselves.

CKay was nominated alongside major artists like The Weeknd, Olivia Rodrigo, Lil Nas X, Billie Eilish, Doja Cat, and Drake making him the second Nigerian to the Nominated for the prestigious Award.

Burna Boy was nominated for the ‘International Male Solo Artist category of the 41st edition of the BRITs Awards.
