Bridget Lancaster is an American television personality who is probably best known as an actress on America’s Test Kitchen. She has, however, gone on to establish herself on more than one cooking show in the country. Bridget is so famous that she is even active on the radio where she shares some of her cooking tips and tricks.

Lancaster is considered one of America’s most talented cooks. Over the years she continued to work on ‘Cook’s Country from America’s Test Kitchen’, ‘Home and Family’, ‘Nova ScienceNow’ etc.

BRIDGET LANCASTER: EARLY CHILDHOOD AND UPBRINGING

Bridget Lancaster was born in 1968 in Cross Lanes, West Virginia. She was born to parents Jim and Linda Sapp who have always been so supportive of her. Growing up, Bridget was able to learn a lot about cooking from her mother. She also has a sister and the two siblings are quite close to each other. The two often cooked together and baked at festivals like Christmas. According to her family background, Bridget is of white ethnicity while her nationality is obviously American.

Looking now at her education, Bridget first joined Nitro High School. She then graduated from high school in 1987. After graduation, Bridget joined the prestigious Ohio State University.

While Lancaster started cooking with her mother, she began her professional career working in restaurants in the South and Northeast right after graduation. She later joined Christopher Kimball’s magazine in 1998. As one of three Test cooks, she later became the cast member of Cook’s Country and America’s Test Kitchen. Since then, Bridget has been part of the television industry with Julia Collin Davison.

While things were going pretty well for her on TV, demand for Bridget was also increasing on radio. She then started hosting various shows and shared various helpful cooking tips and tricks with her listeners. His other shows include ‘Shameless’, ‘Nova ScienceNow’, ‘Home & Family’ and more.

Looking now at the personal aspects of Lancaster’s life, she is married to Stephen Lancaster, who like her is a chef in Boston. Not much is known about how the couple first got together, but things are going pretty well with them in the present. Stephen and Bridget are also parents to two wonderful children, Tom and James, born in 2002 and 2008 respectively.

Once in an interview, Bridget confirmed that, being from Scotland, Stephen loves French butter biscuits. They are all very fond of food and are some of the most amazing cooking couples ever. As it stands, the family resides in Marblehead, Massachusetts.
