1. Brad’s maternal grandfather gave him his first Sears Danelectro Silvertone guitar when he was 8 years old .
2. His first performance came at the age of 10 when he was performing at a local church.

4. He took guitar lessons from a local guitarist, Clarence Goddard. At the age of 13 the duo formed a band Brad Paisley and the C-Notes. Two of Brad’s adult friends were also part of the band.
