• Body composition – As a child, George described himself as thin as a rake. During his adolescence he survived much with nervous energy or anxiety, thus often forgetting to eat and skipping meals.
• When he found success with his band, he had to travel extensively and was entertained in several restaurants.

1. The musician had a difficult childhood at school. He remembers many yells and beatings from his teachers due to his lack of academic interest.
2. All his brothers had to work for their father in his construction business, but George did not join them. He said he felt much happier painting and decorating himself.
