  2. Jon Moss (early 1980s) – As Georges Band Kulturklubwas at the peak of its success from 1982 to 1986, He was involved in a passionate relationship with the band’s drummer, Jon Moss, who was riddled with jealousy, physical and verbal abuse. But none of the elements of this volatile relationship were public knowledge. A major reason for mutual disagreements between the two men was the publicity of their relationship. Jon, who claims to be straight, has dated another man after breaking up with George. He was terribly bored dating a succession of women until he hit it off with longtime friend Barbara Savage. The couple married and had 3 children before divorcing in 2010. cultural clubReunited briefly in 1998, during which Jon and George made peace with each other and were able to work through their differences. George explained that time helped ease their mutual resentment so their relationship could develop into a friendly friendship.
  3. Michael Dunne (late 1980s–late 1990s) – British video director Michael was George’s longtime partner of 11 years before they split. The two men remain friends. In an interview, George stated that it’s important for him to maintain a friendly relationship with all his exes in order to respect the relationship he shared with them. George also shared that long after their split, Michael and he continue to vacation together, which is completely normal for them, although his friends and acquaintances find it strange. He added that Michael is now “like a brother to him . “
  4. Martine McCutcheon (2006–2007) – Tabloid reports suggest George had a brief heterosexual relationship with the British actress, once starring in Love Actually (2003). George and Martine remain friends to this day and she married British singer/songwriter Jack McManus in 2012.

Audun Carlsen (January 2007 – April 2007) – George met Norwegian model Audun Carlsen on a dating site called Gaydarin January 2007 and hired him as a print model, with the additional intention of having relationships with him. Audun claimed he refused to sleep with George, was given £300 of the previously set £400 and left. Over the next few months, he was followed by George to a second meeting, which he relented to in April 2007. George was paranoid that Audun had hacked into his computer to rent photos and other content. Audun eventually pressed charges against George for detaining him. He stated that he was lured into George’s bedroom, only to be beaten and tied to the wall by George’s accomplices. George, on the other hand, admitted that he had handcuffed the model in a fit of raging paranoia, to check his phone and laptop for stolen content, but declined to subject him to physical assault. With George refusing to plead guilty and showing no sign of remorse, the judge ruled in Audun Carlsen’s favor and ordered the singer to pay £5000 in costs and sentence him to 15 monthsHad.
  6. In 2011, George opened up about his long history of dating a number of “straight” men and the disastrous problems he often got himself into. By the time he turned 50, he was grateful he had made it this far and took his health seriously afterward. He added that time has made him a much calmer person who doesn’t want drama. He continues a low-key dating life, but is no longer bothered by another breakup. George said he’s finally happy to be alone and enjoys his own company as much as anyone else’s.
