BONNIE WRIGHT INTERVIEW
When did you first read the “Harry Potter” books and what did you think of them?
Loading… Loading…
Bonnie Wright: I had a few before I started the first movie and I was a huge fan then. I thought they were good books and my brother always said I was a bit like Ginny!
What was the best moment of filming for you?
Bonnie Wright: Going to the studio everyday was great. All sets were wonderful and I loved every scene.
What was it like working with Julie Walters as an on-screen mom?
Bonnie Wright: She’s a really great person and she’s really funny. They were both really ideal screen parents [Mark Williams plays Arthur Weasley], because they’re not mean in any way and they don’t act like you’re a fake daughter or fake son.
How did you find the pressures of fame?
Bonnie Wright: A few people recognized me in public. But I don’t want everyone to recognize me. I can still cross the street without being noticed. If I was Daniel Radcliffe, I think I would have a lot more trouble managing.
What advice have your friends given you?
Bonnie Wright: My friends and family are really proud of me and always talk about the movie. For me, it’s really good to have a lot of people supporting you in reality.
If you could cast one spell, what would it be?
Bonnie Wright: If I wanted to throw a bad one, I’d definitely throw it at someone I don’t like. I like the spell from the first movie when Dudley Dursley takes a pigtail. It was quite funny. I guess it’s not really a spell, but I’d like to fly a broomstick in real life. That would be really cool.
What was the last movie you saw?
Bonnie Wright: I watched ‘Bend it Like Beckham’ on DVD. The acting was really good and the whole idea was great. It was a real story about people doing things their parents don’t think are a good idea. I really like sports, and a lot of boys think that girls can’t play sports, so this proves that a lot of us really do.
What would your next role be?
Bonnie Wright: I would like to play something more modern without all the magic. The last movie I did [TV movie Stranded, based on the story of the Swiss family Robinson] is set in the past, so I would like to do something more current.
