BIOGRAPHY OF BONNIE HUNT
Bonnie Hunt (Bonnie Lynn Hunt) is an American comedian, actress, director, producer and writer known for her film roles as Jumanji, Jerry Maguire and Green Mile.
Other movies are like, Cheaper by the Dozen, Rain Man, Beethoven, Beethoven’s 2nd and Cheaper by the Dozen 2. Bonnie has also done voice acting in Toy Story 3, Cars 2, Monsters University, Zootopia, A Bug’s Life, Monsters, Inc. and Cars 3.
She has also starred in Grand and Davis Rules, as well as creating, producing, writing and starring in The Building, Bonnie and Life with Bonnie.
EDUCATION OF BONNIE HUNT
Hunt attended Catholic schools. She went to St. Ferdinand High School and later Notre Dame High School for Girls in Chicago. She also worked as a part-time nurse’s aide.
BONNIE HUNT’S CAREER
Hunt began her career as a nurse’s aide while still in school. Later she continued and in 1982 she started working as an oncology nurse at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago.
His focus would later change and in 1984 Hunt co-founded an improv comedy troupe called An Impulsive Thing. In 1986, Chicago is world famous, the second city. While still working as a nurse, in 1988 she auditioned on her lunch break for the role of waitress Sally Dibbs in Rain Man and won.
In 1990, in the television series Grand, Hunt portrayed Carol Anne Smithson. Later in 1992, Hunt was offered the role of BJ Poteet on Women’s Design replacing Julia Duffy. However, she chose to co-star in Davis Rules.
She then teamed up with David Letterman in 1993 to produce The Building. The two then reteamed again in 1995 for The Bonnie Hunt Show. It featured many of the same actors as The Building and the same loose style. The show was canceled after 11 of the 13 produced episodes aired.
The Bonnie Hunt Show
Bonnie recorded a pilot episode for Telepictures in 2007 and the pilot was approved and the talk show premiered. The show, The Bonnie Hunt Show, premiered on September 8, 2008. The set design was a tribute to Dean Martin and on the walls were images of historic television personalities, as well as members of Hunt’s family.
The series was inspired by the format of Live with Regis and Kelly, with the host and guests often interacting with the audience and many of the show’s staff were longtime friends of Hunt’s from Chicago. The series began with an opening monologue followed by guest interviews and games played with the audience. Bonnie’s mother, Alice, regularly appeared on webcasts from her home in Chicago.
The show was nominated for three Daytime Emmy Awards, for Opening Theme, Hair and Makeup and won the Gracie Award for “Outstanding Talk Show” in 2009. Later in 2010, Bonnie was nominated for “ Outstanding Talk Show Host” at the Daytime Emmy Award. The last episode of the show aired on May 26, 2010.

In Jumanji, Bonnie plays the role of Sarah Whittle. She is the second most important character and the love interest of Alan Parrish who later became best friend and wife. She is first seen in 1969 as a little girl after returning Alan’s bike after her boyfriend and other bullies took it away. Sarah and Alan later discover a cursed board game called ‘Jumanji’ and start playing it and Alan gets sucked into the game and Sarah gets scared and quickly runs away after being attacked by bats.
After 26 years, Alan is taken out of the board game by Judy and Peter Shepherd. He is now an adult and reunites with Sarah by letting her play Jumanji after joining Judy and Peter to play the game.

Sally is charming, smart, and witty, and she’s become the town’s advocate and car most dedicated to preserving the town’s historic beauty. Sally has purchased the Cozy Cone Motel and restored it to its original condition and has no plans to stop there. She would fix the whole town building by building if that was what it took.
She is fast and is able to participate in races as shown in Cars: The Video Game. She is kind and pleasant, like many city dwellers, as well as witty, charming and intelligent and she and her boyfriend like to feel the wind when they are both driving.
Sometimes Sally is embarrassed when people notice her striped tattoo, though it helps remind her of her past and how happy she is with her present. Sally is painted blue, and she has chrome rims and blue eyes as well as a black striped tattoo on her back. It is modeled after a 2002 Porsche 911 Carrera and has a license plate that reads “301PCE.”
