Robert Warren Woodruff, better known as Bob Woodruff, is an American journalist, widely known for being the co-anchor of ABC News’ weekday newscast called World News Tonight. He was born on August 18, 1961 and has managed to attract the attention of a large number of Fans around the world at the age of 54. His parents are Frances Ann and Robert Norman Woodruff Jr.
Woodruff was born in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan and enrolled at Cranbrook Kingswood. He earned a BA from Colgate University and has also been involved with Theta Chi University. Woodruff began his career as a bankruptcy associate at Shearman and Sterling and later began teaching in Beijing. He was later hired as an on-screen performer and left the law practice to focus on his own career as a journalist for ABC News.
