PROFESSIONAL CAREER AND PERSONAL LIFE

At the age of 19, in 2010, he became a member of the Auryn group. A group that achieved great fame in our country, winning great awards such as Los40 Music Awards and the MTV Europe Music Awards. In 2011 they tried to go to ‘Eurovision’ but were not chosen. He separated from the group years later, leaving thousands of fans devastated and in 2016 he participated in the television program ‘Tu cara me suena’ on Antena 3, where he was proclaimed the winner and became a true mass phenomenon, due to his great performances.

In 2019 the great opportunity of his life came to him, when he was selected to represent Spain in ‘Eurovision’. On October 5, it was learned that his song ‘Universo’ had been selected to represent our country at the 2020 festival, which could not be held due to the Coronavirus pandemic.

After the cancellation of the ‘Eurovision 2020’ festival due to the pandemic, the new edition of the contest, held in 2021, had the same representatives, but with different songs. Blas Cantó appeared at the festival with ‘I’m going to stay’, a beautiful ballad dedicated to his grandmother, finishing in position 24 out of 26 with only six points. Currently, the artist is preparing his next musical projects, of which few details are still known. As for his personal life, the Murcian artist is very jealous of his privacy and it is unknown if he has a partner.
