Personal trainer

Blake Griffin is known for his vertical jump and athletic ability. Many people call him “the human highlight role” because he can dive over people throughout the NBA league like no one else can.

His leg strength and upper body strength are the result of hours put in in-season and off-season. Blake says –

“ There are no shortcuts to success. My vertical jump didn’t reach that far overnight. I’ve worked on my body for hours, months, and years and still do it regularly. Staying in shape all year round is what every player should focus on. It’s good in the long run and sets you up for the playoffs. “

Blake hints at his unique workouts in the sand dunes, which he says are responsible for his great leg strength and vertical jumping skills. In his own words –

“ Every summer is the same story. I walk on the sand dunes and run up and down. My trainer often pushes me to run with a 20 kg vest. Trust me, there’s nothing quite like working on the sand dunes. Neither lifting two-bodyweight squats nor deadlifts can offer the kind of intensity that sand dunes can. “
