Trace Adkins is an American country singer and actor who appeared on the 23rd season of the PBS music show Austin City Limits. He made his debut in 1996 with the album Dreamin’ Out Loud, released on Capitol Records Nashville. Adkins has released ten more studio albums and two Greatest Hits compilations.
Early life and education of Trace Adkins
Tracy Darrell ‘Trace’ Adkins was born on January 13, 1962 in Sarepta, Louisiana. Her parents were Aaron Doyle Adkins, who was a mill worker, and the former Peggy Caraway. Adkin was very interested in music and therefore in high school, he joined the gospel music group. He was also a member of the FFA.
Adkins attended Louisiana Tech University but never graduated. He then went on to work on an oil rig. Adkins then played for a couple of years in honky tonk bars in the Ark-La-Tex area. He later moved to Nashville, Tennessee.

In 1994, he met Rhonda Forlaw, who was an executive at Arista Records Nashville. Thus, Adkins became associated with the Nashville Capitol, which signed him off. He released his first single calle There’s a Girl in Texas, which charted in the top 20 on the Billboard Hot Country Singles & Track chart.
Since then, he has released many studio albums like Dreamin’ Out Loud, Big time, Chrome, Comin’ on Strong, Songs About Me and many more. Soon we will be listening to his 2016 album, TBA.
