Tony Romo, a former NFL quarterback, was born on April 21, 1980 in San Diego, California, United States. His mother, Joan Romo, worked as a store clerk, while his father, Ramiro Romo Jr., worked for the United States Navy. As for his nationality and ethnicity, Toney Romo belongs to White-American.
Tony spent most of his childhood in southern Wisconsin. He was quite interested in sports since his school days. He completed his high school level in the year 1998.
He idolized Brett Favre of the Green Bay Packers and was highly inspired by his style of play. After his studies, he attended Eastern Illinois University in Charleston, Illinois.
There he began playing for the Eastern Illinois Panthers of the NCAA Division I-AA football team and proved to be a talent. In 2002, he was an honorable mention All-American, a member of the All-Ohio Valley Conference, and the OVC Player of the Year.
