Unfortunately, his parents divorced when he was in elementary school, and he went to live with his father in Gibbstown, New Jersey.
Stanley has two sisters named Helen and Salley. She completed her graduation from Collegiate School, Richmond, Virginia. Stanley received a BA in English and Economics from Bowdoin College in 1975. Soon after, she also opened a hot dog stand with Lawrence B. Lindsey.

Moving on to his professional career, Stanley Printmiller began his financial career in 1977 as a management trainee at Pittsburgh National Bank. A star in the making, he rose to become the bank’s head of research a year after moving to the company.
Stanley Printmiller founded Duquesne Capital in 1981. He also began his professional relationship with George Soros at the latter’s Quantum Fund in 1988. However, he left Soros after suffering heavy losses in technology stocks in 2000. Stanley also spoke about the crisis that comes due to rights transfers in 2013.

After eight years, Stanley Printmiller married Fiona Katharine Biggs in 1988. She is also the niece of investor Barton Biggs. The couple have three daughters named Hannah Druckenmiller, Sarah Druckenmiller, and Tess Druckenmiller.
