Early life
Romeo Santos was born on July 21, 1981 in the Bronx, New York. Anthony Santos is his birth name. His father was aDominicanand his mother was aPuerto Rican. His mother was a housewife and his father was a construction worker.
Subsequently, in April 2011, Romeo announced that he would leave the band and pursue a solo career. He signed with Sony Records on April 7, 2011. He released his first solo album Formula,Vol. 1, I called you’. It became number one on the Hot Latin Songs and Tropical Songs charts.
