Riki Lindhome is an American actress, comedian, and musician, known for her roles on television shows like Gilmore Girls, Garfunkel and Oates, The Big Bang Theory, and United States of Tara. She is also known for her musical duo Garfunkel and Oates, which she formed with Kate Micucci.
Early age and education
Lindhome was born on March 5, 1979 in Coudersport, Pennsylvania. She grew up in Portville, New York. Riki is primarily of Swedish descent, is of Caucasian ethnicity, and holds American nationality.
Lindhome attended Syracuse University and was part of the sketch comedy troupe known as Syracuse Live. After graduating from university, Riki pursued her career as an actress.

After completing college, Lindhome was able to find a small role on the sitcom Titus and a minor role on the popular television series. Buffy the Vampire Slayer .
In 2003, Rikki got her first major break, winning a spot in actor Tim Robbins’ Gang theater troupe and appearing in the play Embedded. Lindhome was one of four characters in Logan Huntzberger and then Rory.
In 2006, Lindhome produced, wrote, and co-directed the award-winning short film Life is Short, along with Paso Levine , Alexis Bledel, and Run MacFarlane . She also made an appearance as her in the 2006 film Pulse and the following year, Lindhome was one of many public figures to appear in Nickleback’s music video. Rockstar .
In 2008, Linhome had a small role in the film Changeling, playing a nurse examiner. Rikki went on to guest-star on several popular television series, including The Big Band Theory , Entrepreneur Daisies , and Criminal Minds .
The following year, Lindhome appeared in the film remake of the Wes Craven classic, Last Hope on the Left.
Later in 2012, Rikki turned to Shakespeare, appearing as a villain in Joss Whedon’s adaptation of Much Ado About Nothing. After a three-year gap, Rikki and Natasha Leggero created the Comedy Central series Another Period, as they also made guest appearances together.
Rikki Lindhome recently made her appearance as a supporting role in The Lego Batman Movie , playing supervillain Poison Ivy and The Wicked Witch of the West.
