Growing up in the West Hills neighborhood of Los Angeles, Ramona Shelburne attended El Camino Real High School in Woodland Hills, graduating in 1997. Later, she enrolled at Stanford University to study American Studies. She also received her master’s degree in Communication from the University.
She played softball while at Stanford University from 1998 to 2001, during which time she was named a three-time Academic All-American athlete. She also made appearances for her in the NCAA tournament in 1998 and then the Women’s College World Series in 2001.
