Richard Williams, aka Prince Ea, is an American poet, spoken word artist, and filmmaker. He is one of the 2018 Forbes 30 Under 30 Community Awardees. A graduate of Anthropology, he began his career as a hip-hop artist and later became a spoken word artist/poet and filmmaker. Since 2014, he has focused on creating motivational and inspirational films and spoken word content. He owns his Prince Ea YouTube channel, where he uploads a variety of videos including environmentalism, race, work-life balance, and spirituality. As of June 2018, his channel has over 2.2 million subscribers and over 1.5 billion video views.

Richard Williams aka Prince Ea was born on September 16, 1988 in St. Louis, Missouri, USA. Controversy

In 2016, Prince Ea received criticism from other YouTube channels, including Nerd City and English YouTuber Boyinaband. Boyinaband called out Prince Ea for spreading misinformation about mental illness, without citing sources of studies he cited in his videos. He also said that he posted a lot of clickbait articles on his Facebook.
