Philip DeFranco was born on December 1, 1985 in the Bronx, New York, USA. He is the son of Philip Franchini, Sr. and also has a stepmother who works at a car dealership. He has an American nationality and as for his ethnicity, he is of Italian descent.
Philip DeFranco finished his primary level from St. Philip Neri School. He later attended the University of South Florida, where he and his mother shared an English class together, funnily enough. Philip also studied biology at Asheville-Buncombe Technical Community College and later graduated from East Carolina University.
