Peter Stormare is a renowned Swedish actor, musician, voice actor, playwright and theater director born and raised in Kumla, Sweden. He is popularly known for his role as John Abruzzi on the Fox TV series, Prison Break. Stormare is a man of many talents, as he seems to have a handful in all fields. He has even released a music album and has been featured in many video games as well as voicing many animated movies. Stormare is in the 2018 American sitcom LA to Vegas as one of the main characters.
Early life and education of Peter Stormare
Peter Stormare was born as Rolf Peter Ingvar Storm on August 27, 1953, to parents Gunhild Storm and Karl Ingvar Storm . He was born in Kumla and raised in Arbra, Sweden. He is of Swedish nationality. Stormare was the last name he gave himself when he discovered that his name was similar to that of a senior at the acting academy.
Stormare began acting at the young age of 11, performing at the Royal Swedish National Theatre, where 1,000 shows are performed a year.
Stormare follows the Christian religion and has participated in Baptist meetings in Sweden. He believes that he has a spiritual side which he got from his mother and says that his mother got it from his maternal grandfather.
