Early life and education of Peter Dinklage
Dinklage was born on June 11, 1969. He was born in Morristown, New Jersey, but raised in Mendham Township, New Jersey, USA. It is a mixed ethnic group of German-English-Irish and American nationality.
Dinklage was born to an elementary school music teacher, Diane Dinklage, and a retired insurance salesman, John Carl Dinklage (died 2004). He was born with a common form of dwarfism called achondroplasia.
Dinklage was educated at a Catholic school for boys called Delbarton School in 1987, during this time he enrolled in the school’s drama club and developed his interest in acting. He then joined Bennington College here, appearing in several productions before finally graduating in 1991.
Peter Dinklage’s career
Peter Dinklage began his career acting in a play The Velveteen Rabbit, a fifth-grade production. He took the lead play and was praised by the audience for his performance for the show. Later, explaining the situation to People magazine, he said, “When you get your first solo bow, it feels pretty good.”
Dinklage landed his breakthrough role in the 2003 film The Station Agent. He has also appeared in several plays and films. Starting in 2011, he began appearing in the hit HBO series Game of Thrones, playing Tyrion Lannister for which he won two Emmy Awards.
Dinklage made his first appearance in the film titled Living in Oblivion in 1995, where he played a frustrated actor with dwarfism and complains about their common roles. He rose to fame in 2003, appearing in The Station Agent, for which he was nominated for Best Actor at both the Screen Actors Guild and the Independent Spirit Award.
Peter Dinklage is a decayed Catholic and suggested that doubt rather than belief is most necessary today. Since turning 16, Dinklage became a vegetarian and supports Farm Sanctuary and also served Walk for Farm Animals as a spokesperson for the organization.
