Paul Teutul Sr., also known as Paul John Teutul is a founder of Orange County Choppers which is a company that makes custom bikes. He came into the spotlight after he launched his reality television series, American Chopper . Besides that, he also wrote two books on automobile manufacturing.

Early life and biography of Paul Teutul Sr.

Paul Teutul Sr. was born Paul John Teutul on May 1, 1949 in Yonkers, New York, USA under the star sign Taurus. People who fall under this sign define their traits as trustworthy, patient, devoted, and responsible.

During his early days, he sailed as a member of the United States Merchant Marines Vietnam War, although he never served in a branch of the United States military.

Paul Teutul Sr. Career

After Paul returned from the war, he started his own company called the Orange County Blacksmith Shop, a fabrication shop now wholly owned by his son Daniel Teutul. While he owned the company, his son Daniel Teutul served as manager.

Paul Teutul Sr. started building custom bikes for his pleasure, which was inspired by many custom bikes that appear on the street and in the movies.

In 1999, he left Orange County Ironworks and founded Orange County Choppers to build custom bikes. Paul offered the company to his son Paul Teutul Jr. and began producing custom bikes for sale.

In addition to building custom bikes, he also published his first book titled Orange County Choppers in 2006 with his son Paul Teutul Jr. After a few years, he republished his second book titled The Ride of His Life in 2009.

Paul Teutul Sr. has also produced and acted in a few movies and series and some of them are Wild Boars and My Name is Earl .

American Chopper is the documentary series produced by him from 2009-2010. In 2010, he made an appearance in his documentary with his son. He also appeared on another reality series. Orange County Choppers – Made in America 2015-2016 form.

Paul Teutul at the age of 69 (2019) is single at the moment, however he has been married twice. He first married Paula Teutul in 1969. The couple was blessed with four children, a daughter Christin Teutul and three sons Daniel Teutul, Michael Teutul, and Paul Teutul Jr.

His daughter Christin is a nurse and his three sons are involved in the same profession; a custom bike builder. He lived his happy life with his wife and his children until the couple divorced in 1995.

Talking about his second marriage, he married Beth Ann Santos in July 2007 . However, their marriage could not last long and she separated in 2012 and officially divorced in February 2015.

Is Paul Teutul Sr. dead?In April 2016, social media was awash with news of former American Chopper star Paul Teutul Sr.’s death in a motorcycle accident in Louisiana. According to the source, his motorcycle was hit by an SUV in Greta. The rumor mill ran wild at times until the official page for his Orange County Choppers show clarified that Teutul’s death was totally false.

There are many rumors that Paul Sr. was in an accident and is in critical condition or has passed away. These are fake and Paul Sr. is alive and well! Thank you all for all the concerns and messages from him.
