Pat Nelly, is an American television personality who came into the limelight after hosting the show called, Food Network TV Show and Road Tested with the Neelys along with his ex-wife, Gina Neely.
The former couple own Neely’s Bar-B-Que restaurant in downtown Memphis, Tennessee. In addition, they have co-written a cookbook, Down Home with the Neelys: A Southern Family Cookbook , which was published by Knopf.
Early life and career
Pat Nelly was born as Patrick Nelly on July 20, 1964 in Detroit, Michigan, United States. He belongs to the white American ethnicity and has the American nationality. Nelly grew up with his three brothers, Tony Neely, Gaelin Neely and Mark Neely.
Colby Brock and his brothers opened a barbecue restaurant in Memphis in 1988. His uncle, Jim Neely, was a well-known Memphis restaurateur and was also the owner of Jim Neely’s Interstate Bar-B-Que in Gardena, California. Neely also helped them set up his restaurant.
The brothers later built their own separate restaurant that became four Neely’s Bar-B-Ques in Memphis and Nashville. They also owned a 2,000-square-foot space in downtown Memphis, marked to be a corporate headquarters.
After establishing his business in Memphis, Pat along with Gina Neely opened a restaurant in New York City called Neely’s Pig Parlor. The restaurant eventually opened as Neely’s Barbeque Parlor, in 2011.
During the summer of 2006, Paula Deen’s sons Bobby and Jamie Deen promoted the Nashville location of Neely’s Bar-B-Que on their Road Tasted show.
In September 2006, Paula ate at Neely’s downtown restaurant in Memphis and was impressed with the cuisine. The couple was also invited to appear at Paul’s Party in January 2007.
Later, Pat and Gina became one of the most famous restaurateurs in New York City. The couple were so fascinated and impressed with the kitchen that they aired a show in February 2008 titled Down Home with the Neelys.
Soon after, the couple wrote a book called Down Home with the Neelys: A Southern Family Cookbook. The book was co-written by Paul Disbrowe with the foreword written by Paul Deen and was released in May 2009, and was published by Knopf, a New York publisher.

Currently, Pat Nelly is single. She was previously married to Gina Neely , she is a famous American restaurateur, best known for her work on the Food Network.
The former couple began dating out of their high school in the 1980s and after meeting for their 10th meeting, they married in 1994.
Together, the former couple have two daughters, Shelbi and Spenser. However, according to some sources, Spenser is Gina’s daughter from her previous marriage.
After living together for over twenty years, they divorced in 2014, citing irreconcilable differences.
