Pamela Gene Dawber, popularly known simply as Pam Dawber (also nicknamed Dawb), is an American actress. She is popular for her roles as Mindy McConnell on the American sitcom Mork & Mindy opposite Robbie Williams as Mork and as Samantha Russell on My Sister Sam. Originally from Detroit, Michigan, Dawber moved to New York City to pursue her modeling career and later found herself in an acting career.

Dawber grew up in suburban Detroit attending elementary school in Goodrich, Michigan and high school at North Farming High School. She later joined Oakland Community College, but deferred her studies to do some modeling work. She later decided to drop out and devote her full time to modeling work.

One of her friends who was going to New York suggested that she accompany her and bring her portfolio of models. She accepted and moved to New York, where her career began to take off. She started out as a model at Wilhelmina Models and later moved into an acting career. She studied acting, auditioned, and appeared in television commercials.

She landed a role in a movie ‘A Wedding’ and then a surprisingly large role in ‘Morty and Mindy’ despite having little acting experience and not having auditioned for the role. The show was a huge success from the start and made stars of the two lead actors, Pam Dawber and Robin Williams. She earned a 1976 People’s Choice Awards Favorite Actress in a New TV Show.

After the show ended in 1982, he starred in a few TV movies and in 1986, he had another hit with the series ‘My Sister Sam.’ From the show, she earned her second award: 1987 People’s Choice Awards Favorite Actress in a New TV Show.

Dawber was born to Thelma Dawber and Eugene E. Dawber, a commercial artist. She had a younger sister, Leslie, who was born with congestive heart disease. In 1976, Leslie tragically passed away at the age of 22 during open heart surgery. Dawber sought therapy sessions to address her grief and cope with her loss.

Pam Dawber was introduced to Mark Harmon by Gina Hecht, whom she married in a private ceremony on March 21, 1987. She has two sons: Sean Thomas Harmon and Ty Christion Harmon. Her last major roles as an actress ended in the late ’90s, when she decided to spend more time raising her family. The couple is private about their family life, as she is rarely seen publicly with their children. They also rarely speak to each other in interviews. They have been in love for 30 years and divorce seems to be a non-existent word in their relationship.

Prior to her marriage, she was in a relationship with ski professional Weems Westfeldt and top model Phil Coccioletti. She has also had affairs with Andy Gibbs and Robbin Williams.

There have been rumors that Dawber would be involved in bringing Mork and Mindy to the big screen, but nothing of the kind has come to pass.

Pam Dawber is 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighs 61 kilograms. She has a chest size of 34C. She is a white American with light brown eyes. Her horoscope sign is Libra.

Pam has a net worth of approximately $40 million. Although she does not currently do any acting roles, it is estimated that she earned $15,000 per episode while starring in Morty and Mindy.
