Biography of Monica Cryan

Monica Cryan is a broadcast meteorologist currently with WeatherNation in West Hartford, Connecticut. She was born and raised near Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She has lived in Pennsylvania, Texas, Alabama, and is currently a resident of Colorado.

Throughout his career, he has covered droughts in Texas, severe storms in Alabama, and blizzards in Connecticut. She is a highly trained weather forecaster. Her nationality is American and her ethnicity is White American.

Monica Cryan joined The Pennsylvania State University, one of the best meteorology schools in the country, in 2006 and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Meteorology, Forecasting and Communication in 2010. During that time, she was active in numerous university activities and became it brought together societies like Campus Weather Service, Penn State Network, and weather world.

In addition to being involved in the meteorology department, she was also very involved in other additional activities. She joined Kappa Gamma, a sorority for women. Through Kappa, Monica became involved in the Penn State Dance-A-thon, the largest student-run philanthropy. After graduation, she followed her childhood dream of being a broadcast meteorologist.

Her first job as a broadcast meteorologist started in 2010. She worked at KMID-TV Big 2 News from November 2010 to June 2011. After that, she worked as a broadcast meteorologist and reporter for KTAB/KRBC from June 2011 to January 2011. 2013 and WSFA 12 News from January 2013 to April 2014.

He then joined NBC Connecticut, leaving in August 2015. His last day at NBC Connecticut was August 2. ^{North Dakota,} 2015. Since then, she has continued her profession at WeatherNation.

He also joined the American Military University in 2015 and his Masters in Public Administration would be completed in 2017. When she was younger, Monica Cyran loved to watch the news. She had a passion for science and math from an early age. She always wanted to pursue her broadcasting career and become a successful weather forecaster. While she was taking AP Environmental Science in high school, she became intrigued by air quality and how it is affected by the weather. She began forecasting the weather for her high school communication club. That’s when she decided to apply to Penn State’s meteorology program.

Monica loves the snow and says her Connecticut blizzard coverage was extremely memorable for her. She also said that the drought that hit Texas impacted her the most. She was her first full-time meteorologist position and the drought was the worst in recorded Texas history. One of the things that caught his eye was the power of the wind after covering a forest fire that devastated a large part of the land.

He loves going to the beaches in the summer and skiing on the slopes in the winter. Born and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, she loves to return to the state often to spend time with her family, but her work has tied her to Connecticut. Not much is known about her net worth and her family, but it is known that she is married.
