Born and raised in Nagri , Gharbia, Mohamed Salah is an Egyptian professional footballer who currently plays for the Egyptian national team and Liverpool as a striker. The footballer made his professional debut in 2010 playing for local youth club EI Mokawloon and international debut in 2011 for the Egypt national football team. In early 2014, Salah became the first Egyptian international to sign for English Premier League club Chelsea. After playing in the 2011 FIFA U-20 World Cup, the 2012 Summer Olympics and the 2017 CAF Nations Cup, he finally carved a place for himself on the national team. He also became the top scorer in the FIFA World Cup qualifiers.

Early life and childhood of Mohamed Salah

Born on June 15, 1992 in Nagri, Gharbia, Egypt, Mohamed Salah was born into an average middle-class family. Regarding the nationality of him, he is Egyptian and ethnic, he is Arab. He was interested in playing soccer from a very young age.

Salah used to watch football on TV when he wasn’t playing. He started playing for a local youth club. The Mokawloon in Cairo. The club was far from his hometown but he did not give up and his passion for the game kept him focused.

The footballer finally got the chance to play for the senior team when he was 18 years old. At the beginning of his career, he mainly improved his game as a substitute player and finally began to play as a regular striker.

Mohamed Salah’s professional career
