Early age and education
Mike Cernovich was born as Michael John Cernovich on November 17, 1977 in Illinois, USA. He was raised in a devout Christian family in the farming town of Kewanee, Illinois. His family was so poor growing up that he went to school in just a pair of pants.
Cernovich is the son of Michael John Cernovich and Diana Lynn. His mother suffered from mental illness. He belongs to the American nationality and ethnicity wise, he is of mixed ethnicity.
Cernovich attended the University of Illinois and achieved graduation. He later joined Pepperdine University Law School.

Mike Cernovich began his career in 2004. He started a legal weblog, Crime and Federalism. American Lawyer Media selected his blog for his distribution.
Cernovich promoted the ‘coordinated harassment campaign’ called Gamergate in 2014. The campaign deals with issues of sexism and progressivism in the video game industry.
The following year, Cernovich published the self-help book, Gorilla Mentality . In the book, he talks about how a woman should submit to dominant alpha males.
She later became influential on social media as a member of the manosphere moment. She falsely claimed that Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton had a seizure disorder and Parkinson’s disease during the 2016 united presidential election.
The ‘HillarysHealth’ hashtag received 240,000 page views, as of September 2015. At that time, it also became a national trending topic on Twitter.
Cernovich said her support for Donald Trump is not based on his public policy, but she supports Trump as Trump’s alpha person.
Cernovich supported the popularization of the discredited Pizzagate conspiracy theory through his blog posts. In 2016, he blamed the Democratic Party for trying to assassinate him. The same year, he criticized Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau for speaking at a gender-segregated mosque.
In November 2017, Cernovich spread a false rumor that shooter Devin Patrick Kelley was linked to Antifa, during the Southerland Springs church shooting.
Cernovich was also found to have paid $10K for information on sexual harassment deals in Congress.
Sam Seder Smear Campaign
Cernovich published a post on Medium, on November 28, 2017, that resurfaced a since-deleted tweet MSNBC talk radio host Sam Seder wrote in 2009. He was joking about convicted child rapist and fugitive film director Roman Polanski.
The tweet said:
“I don’t care about Polanski, but I hope that if my daughter is ever raped, it’s by a really talented older man with a great sense of stage performance.”
Cernovich then reached out to many journalists and news outlets to break the story. MSNBC also faced several backlashes, after the tweet was interpreted as a rape joke by Cernovich.
TheWrap made a public announcement that MSNBC had chosen to break ties with Seder by not renewing his contract due to the controversial tweet on December 4, 2017.
Shortly after. MSNBC decided to reverse its decision to fire Seder, rehiring him on December 7.

Mike Cernovich has been married twice. He was first married in 2003. They were law students at Pepperdine. He has said that the marriage was ruined by feminist indoctrination.
Cernovich’s ex-wife became a lawyer in Silicon Valley and made a huge amount of money from an initial public stock offering. She filed for divorce in the year 2011 and her divorce was finalized the same year.
Shortly after the split, Cernovich met his second wife, Shauna Cernovich at a Santa Monica bar. The couple dated for nearly four years before tying the knot in November 2015. They welcomed their first child, a daughter; Cyra Cernovich in early 2017.
