Player Imaqtpie was born Michael Santana on February 21, 1992 in Margate, Florida, United States to parents José and María Santana. He is half Cuban and half Colombian.
Since his childhood, Imaqtpie used to play a lot of games and he was very good at it. He played various games like Play Station and eventually League of Legends. As time went by, he felt that he was really doing well and became more committed, spending more time practicing.

Imaqtpie began his professional gaming career in the year 2011 with his group called Oh God Bears . He moved to California to get closer to his gaming platforms, Riot Games and League of Legend.
Later, in April 2011, he left the group and joined a new group, Solid Rock where he, like AD, leads. The team won the ESL National Premier League and he was picked up by Team Valor in September 2011.
