Michael Imperioli was born on March 26, 1966 in Mount Vernon, New York, United States of America, into an Italian-American family. His ancestors are from Lazio and Sicily.
His father, Y Imperioli , was a bus driver and amateur actor, while his mother, Claire Imperioli , was an amateur actress.
He was raised along with his brother John Imperioli who studied at Mount Vernon High School. Meanwhile, Michael completed his graduation from Sacred Heart High School in Yonkers, New York.
