Michael Bisping is a retired English mixed martial artist turned sports analyst, commentator, and actor currently residing in Anaheim, California. He is the first and only UFC champion, having won the UFC Middleweight Championship.

Bisping grew up in Clitheroe, Lancashire, England, and attended St. Augustine’s Roman Catholic Grammar School in Billington. He began training in Jujutsu at the age of 8 and during his teenage years, he trained in various martial arts disciplines, including boxing, kickboxing, and karate.
Career
Michael Bisping made his professional MMA debut in 2004 and fought for promotions such as Supreme Force.
Bisping debuted for the Ultimate Fighting Championship ( ufc ) promotion in The Ultimate Fighter 3 . He then went on to win the winning light heavyweight tournament.

He continued to find more success following his move to the middleweight division. At UFC 199 , Bisping won via first-round knockout to become the UFC Middleweight Champion. He is the first and, to date, the only British UFC Champion.
Following an eye injury sustained at UFC Fight Night: Bisping vs. Gastelum , Michael officially retired from acting on May 28, 2018. Since then, he has kept up with MMA as an analyst and commentator.
