Biography of Max Minghella

Max Minghella born Max Giorgio Choa Minghella is an actor and screenwriter who appeared in several American films. He debuted in the film industry with the dramatic film, Season of Bees , an adaptation of the 2000 Myla Goldberg novel. He is recognized for his roles in movies like Art School Confidential , The Social Network, and The Internship . As of 2018, he is a part of the Hulu series, The Handmaid’s Tale playing the character, Nick, the driver. He is the son of the late director, Anthony Minghella and is stepping into his father’s shoes with a directorial debut of his own screenplay called Spirited Away .

Early life and education of Max Minghella

Max Minghella was born to a famous director Anthony Minghella and choreographer Carolyn Jane Choa on September 16, 1985. He was born in Hampstead, London and is of multi-ethnic background as his father was of Italian descent and his mother was born in Hong Kong.

His maternal grandfather belonged to neighborhoods such as Han Chinese, half Jewish, and his maternal grandmother belonged to Chinese, Swedish, English, Irish, and Indian. His maternal great-grandfather and her great-great-grandfather were renowned people, one of whom was a legislator. Robert Kotewall and another is Calcutta-born businessman Emanuel Raphael Belilious . So Minghella’s descent is not very specific.

Minghella says that she loves to watch female-centric movies, as she loves to hear stories about women, and her Netflix recommendation is mostly focused on women. Minghella’s Hollywood best friend is Jamie Bell.
