Masayori ‘Masi’ Oka is a Japanese- American actor, digital effects artist, music director, and producer. He gained worldwide fame for his role as Hiro Nakamura on the NBC show. Heroes (2006) and Doctor Max Bergman on CBS’s Hawaii Five-0 (2010).
Early life of Masi Oka
Masi Oka was born on December 27, 1974 in Tokyo, Japan. He was born to Japanese parents who divorced when he was just one month old. After the divorce, he was raised by his mother and never saw his father again. He along with his mother moved to Los Angeles from Japan when he was six years old.

In 2015, he announced that he would reprise his role as Hiro Nakamura on NBC’s Heroes Reborn.
