American actress and comedian, Maria Thayer is known for her role as Susie Wagner on the Adult Swim action comedy television series, Eagleheart (2011-14) and as Abbey Logan on the American cable television series, Those Who they can’t . She first came to the spotlight due to her role as Tammi Littlenut on the cult series Strangers With Candy. While attending Apple Valley High School, Thayer was a member of the award-winning forensics program and the National Forensic League. Also, she was the homecoming queen of her high school. Thayer was previously engaged to the actor. David Harbour .

Maria Thayer was born Maria Christina Thayer on October 30, 1975, in Portland, Oregon, USA. She is of White-American ethnicity/race and holds American nationality.
He grew up in the small east Portland town of Boring, where Thayer’s parents owned a bee farm. Later, along with her parents, she moved to Minnesota.
Thayer went to Apple Valley High School in Apple Valley, Minnesota. He later studied acting at The Juilliard School in New York.

Maria Thayer began her acting career with the 1999 film, Kimberly as Louise. The same year, she starred in the television series, Candy Strangers , alongside Amy Sedaris , Stephen Colbert, and Paul Dinello among others.
He went on to appear in numerous television series including, Big Apple, The Education of Max Bickford, Miss Match, Law & Order: Criminal Intent, Comedy Lab, The Colbert Report, Lipstick Jungle, Important Stuff with Demetri Martin, Cougar Town, Comedy Bang! Burst! and many more.
Thayer made his stage debut in 2002 with Necessary Goals . She also appeared in stage shows titled, Guardians (2002), Unshielded (2012) and Lost Labor of Love (2013).
