Marc Merrill, aka Tryndamere, is an American businessman who is known as the co-founder of video game developer and eSport tournament organizer Riot Games. He is also the co-creator of the popular League of Legends MOBA (Multi-Player online Battle Arena) game .

Marc Merrill was born on August 17, 1980 in California under the sign of the constellation Leo and has US citizenship. Marc has a great passion for video games that he developed when he was young. He went to University and there he learned how to develop games.

Marc attended the University of Southern California from 1998 to 2002, where he met Brandon.

Marc and his friend Brandon were huge fans of games, especially the World of Warcraft and Star Wars type of games. While still in college, he worked as a bank analyst in 1998. He left the job and started working at another company as an events and marketing agent.
