Kiran Chetry is a Nepali-born former reporter for American Television News. She was active in television magazines until 2011. Early life and education of Kiran Chetry

Kiran Chetry was born on August 26, 1974, at Patan Hospital, Lalitpur Nepal. Kiran Chetry was born in the small country in Asia known as the home of the Himalayas.

He was born to a Ukrainian mother Nancy and a Nepalese father Hom Chetry. Her father had met Nancy when she was a Peace Corps volunteer in Nepal.

Kiran means light and Chetry refers to the great rulers and soldiers of traditional castes in Nepal. Kiran Chetry is a US national and is of mixed ethnicity i.e. White Southeast Asian American.

She moved to KXTV in Sacramento, California from WICU-TV in 1999 as a morning anchor and reporter. Kiran, who gained two years’ experience at KXTV, joined FOX News Channel in 2001 as a general reporter.

She has also worked as an alternative host for Fox News Live and the morning news show Fox & Friends First. Later in 2005, she worked as a regular co-anchor on the network’s weekend morning news show Fox & Friends Weekend.
