Joseph Morgan is an English actor and director popularly known for his appearance in the supernatural drama. The Vampire Diaries and it’s spin-off The Originals playing Klaus Mikaelson’s character, The Original Vampire. He won the TV Guild Award for Choice TV Villian for The Vampire Diaries and won the People’s Choice Awards for Favorite Actor in a New TV Series for The Originals . He also appeared in a British medical drama series. He victimized in 2008-09 as Tony Reece and in the role of Troy in the British television series, Hex. Morgan also starred in a miniseries. Early life and education of Joseph Morgan
Joseph Morgan was born Joseph Martin on May 16, 1981 in London, England, but lived the first 11 years of his life in Swansea, Wales. He attended Morriston Comprehensive School and Gorseinon College studying the BTEC Performing Arts Course in Swansea and returned to his homeland of London to enroll at the Central School of Speech and Drama in his late teens.
Morgan got his touch on acting when he was 15 years old after being inspired by Quentin Tarantino’s works. During his time in college, he continued to write and experiment with filmmaking and participated in student films and workshop scenes from his favorite movies.
Joseph Morgan’s career
Morgan debuted in the entertainment industry with the TV series Ghosts in 2002, appearing in an episode of the first season. The following year he was cast in movies. Heroic, Master, Commander and a TV series called Henry VIII.
Morgan appeared as Troy in 5 episodes of One Television Series Hex in 2004 and was in some great movies like Alexander, Angels Crest, The Grind, and Immortals. He also appeared in the popular American supernatural drama television series. The Vampire Diaries as Klaus Mikaelson from 2011 to 2016, appearing from seasons two to seven.
Her appearance in the series earned her the TV Guide Award for Choice TV Villian. The Vampire Diaries has a popular cast including Nina Dobrev , Paul Wesley, Ian Somerhalder, Candice King, and Kat Graham .
