Jolene Van Vugt, multiple Guinness World Record holder, is a Canadian professional motocross racer. She is the first CMRC Canadian National Women’s Motocross Champion and the first woman to backflip a full-size dirt bike. She has also showcased her talent on the television show Nitro Circus.

At the age of 14, he was given the challenge to practice, race and quit for good or take up motocross for real. Focusing full time on motocross, her talent and dedication soon became obvious as she quickly rose to the top of Canadian women’s motocross.
She earned multiple Ontario Provincial Championships, a 9th-place finish in the WMA (Women’s Motocross Association) to ultimately secure her 63rd career number. She has also participated in several prestigious motocross events such as the CMX Canadian National Championship and the TransCan Canadian Amateur Grand National Championship.
Jolene became a part of the television show Nitro Circus in 2006, which was broadcast on Fuel TV and became a full series broadcast on MTV in 2009. The year 2006 was a landmark year for Van Vugt, not only for his efforts in racing, but also for her success in being the first woman to backflip a full-size dirt bike down 60-foot ramps to dirt.
In 2008, Jolene registered her name in Guinness World Records for being the first woman to backflip on a dirt bike and for the longest backflip. Later in 2012, she did the driving stunts for Catwoman in the movie. The dark knight rises.
In September 2015, she was badly injured which required reconstructive surgeries to her face and kept her out of action for a long period.
