Joseph Fidler Walsh was born on 20 th November 1947 in Wichita, Kansas, USA. He is an American producer, songwriter, singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist. During his career, he has been a member of five successful rock bands called Ringo Starr & His All-Starr Band, Eagles, Barnstorm, James Gang and The Party Boys.
Joseph Walsh’s father was Robert Newton Filder. His father died in a plane crash. He was adopted by his stepfather when he was five years old. His mother was a classically trained pianist. Joe spent his entire childhood in Columbus Ohio.
education and career
When Joseph Walsh was twelve years old, his family moved to New York City. Later, in New York, he went to Montclair High School. After high school, he attended Kent State University. In college, he spent his time with various bands and after a period, Joseph dropped out to pursue a career in music.

In the year 1965, the Measles Gang was formed by four Kent State college students, among them a gang member was Joseph Walsh. He was a member of the band from 1965 to 1967. After that, he joined the band called the James Gang in 1968. In the same year, they played a concert in Detroit for the opening of Cream. In the year 1969, the band released their debut album called Yer Album. The band’s other two albums were released in 1970 and 1971 called James Gang Rides Again and Thirds respectively. In the year 1973, he interviewed that things were not going musically as he expected and he left the band.
After leaving the band, Joseph Walsh moved to Colorado, where he formed a band called Barnstorm. The band featured Joe Vitale on drums and multi-instrumentalist and Kenny Passarelli on bass. Barnstorm and Walsh’s debut album was released in 1972 called Barnstorm. The album was a critical success but a moderate commercial success.
In the year 1975, Joseph Walsh was invited to join the band called Eagles. The album called Hotel California was released in December 1976, it was Joseph’s first album in the band and the band’s fifth album. His other album called The Long Run took two years to complete and was released on the 24th of September 1979. The album had failed critically but was a commercial success.

Joseph Walsh has been married five times. His first marriage was to Margie Walsh from 1967 to 1970. His other wives include Stefany Rhodes, Juanita Boyer, and Denise Driscoll. Marjorie Bach is the fifth wife of his whom he married on 13 th December 2008.
Joseph Walsh’s daughter by his third wife is a musician named Lucy Walsh. The eldest daughter of hers, named Emma Kristen, died when she was just three years old from 1971 to 1974. The estimated net worth of her is $65 million.
