Jenna Elfman is an American actress and dancer who debuted in the entertainment industry in 1990 with a music video appearance on the Depeche Mode song Halo . She launched her acting career in a television show, The George Carlin Show in 1994 and then in the film Grosse Pointe Blank in 1997. She is a member of the Church of Scientology and is involved in many fundraising activities.
Early life and education of Jenna Elfman
Jenna Elfman was born Jennifer Mary Butala to Grace Butala and Richard Butala on September 30, 1971 in Los Angeles, California. Her mother was a homemaker and her father was an executive at Hughes Aircraft.
She is the youngest of the three in her family and grew up in her hometown with siblings. Elfman is of her father’s Croatian descent and was raised Roman Catholic. Her mother was of Scottish, German and English descent.
Elfman gave birth to her first child; a son, Historia Elias Elfman on July 23, 2007, and later a second son named Easton Quinn Monroe Elfman on March 2, 2010.
She is very active in fundraising activities. She has contributed extensively to fundraising by hosting a comedy show, having fans make charitable donations recognizing her birthday, and participating in awareness events.
