Isha was born in France in the year 1970 on January 6 to Temne parents from Sierra Leone. Her mother is a former professor at Fourah Bay University named Dr. Kadi Sesay, and her father was legal adviser to the Sierra Leone Produce Marketing Board. She has an older sister and a younger brother.
