Hiroyuki Sanada is a Japanese national actor who has been known for his efforts in the acting fraternity. He was born on October 12 in Tokyo, Japan and has been actively involved in the acting fraternity since 1968. He started his career hoping to be an action star, but he moved on to different types of roles over time and has been best known for his role in Sunshine.

Sanada began training at the age of 11 and developed his martial arts skill over time. Sanada’s career in marital movies began after he was introduced to Michelle Yeoh and he first started in Sunshine. He then appeared on Rush Hour 3 with Jackie Chan.
