Biography of Flex Alexander

Flex Alexander is a dancer, comedian, and actor who is best known for his acrobatic dance skills. He was born on April 15, 1970.

Flex was born as Mark Alexander Knox in Harlem. His parents are Alethia Knox and Robert Whitehead. His dance began when he was a teenager. After beginning to dance in clubs in New York, he earned the nickname of Flex due to the acrobatic dance skills that he displayed to his audience. He was discovered by DJ Spindrella and was therefore called to tour with the dance company of the rap trio Salt-n-Pepa. After doing it for three years, he also choreographed for Mary J. Blige and Queen Latifah during that time. After making his debut as a comedian in 1989, he turned to acting and made his feature film debut with the movie Juice in 1992. He was also regularly portrayed on the comedy show titled Uptown Comedy Club.

This also earned him an NAACP Award nomination. After finishing his roles in One on One, Alexander starred in the movie Snakes on a Plane as well as the 2007 movie The Hills Have Eyes 2. Poor Boy’s Game also starred in it and he also starred in CSI: Miami.
