She was raised along with her three siblings, two sisters, Nika LaRue, and Lara LaRue , and one brother, Luis Jr. She is the third cousin of the American actress and political activist. Jane Fonda . She is American and belongs to the mixed ethnicity of Puerto Rican, French Dutch and Scottish.
In 1984, LaRue won Danfranc Productions’ Miss California Empire Award. She graduated from Norco High School in 1985. Shortly after her graduation, she began her career as a model. She first worked with the Judith Fontaine Agency and finally with Frederick’s of Hollywood.
