Erik Kuselias was born and raised in Hamden, Connecticut, where he had played baseball during his youth and had been an all-state ballplayer. He played all-state baseball with Major League Baseball stars Brad Ausmus , Mo Vaughn , and Jeff Bagwell .
Erik Kuselias has a brother named Christopher J. Kuselias who is also a television host who initially worked with Erik at ESPN.

Before joining NBC, he worked on the golf channel Tomorrow Drive , NASCAR Now on ESPN2, The SportsBash on ESPN Radio, and NFL on ESPN Radio on Sundays during the NFL season.
Erik Kuselias began his career at ESPN as a co-host on The Sports Brothers along with his brother Chris.
