He auditioned for the role of a henchman in the original 1994 film, The Raven , and in 2000 portrayed Alex Corvis in The Raven: Salvation opposite Kirsten Dunst .
Mabius appeared in Cruel Intentions (1999) alongside Ryan Phillippe and Sarah Michelle Gellar . In 2002, he played the role of activist, Matt Addison , in the sci-fi action horror film, Resident Evil .
