He appeared in a leading role in a drama film The Lifeguard in 2013. From 2013-18, he appeared in a family series The Fosters. He played the main character Bandon Foster, a 16-year-old pianist who is the biological son of police officer Stef Adams Foster. He was nominated for a Teen Choice Awards for Choice Summer TV Star: Male in 2014.
