Craig Melvin began his professional career in journalism in 2001. The year, he joined WIS News 10, NBC as an anchor and reporter. Melvin worked there for almost 7 years, joining WIS in July 2001 and working as a news anchor and reporter.
In 2008 Melvin left WIS and joined WRC-TV in the same role. The same year, he also joined NBC News and has been with the network ever since.
Since 2011, he has also worked as a ‘Today’ National Correspondent and an anchor at NBC News. He anchored MSNBC’s coverage of the National Democratic and Republic conventions and Election Night coverage for TVOne in 2012.
